VR-Haptic Thinkers meetup in London

The VR-Haptic Thinkers group will host a transformative one-day conference titled ‘Shaping the Surgeons of Tomorrow: Innovations in Simulation Education and Haptic VR for Skill Mastery’.

The event will be held on June 6, 2025 from 8:30am to 5:00pm (GMT) in London, and is co-hosted by the Royal Society of Medicine’s Odontology Section (RSM).

This is part of a hybrid meet-up series that can be attended both live and on-line. Previous meet-ups have been highly successful, featuring a range of speakers that are experienced in VR haptic dental education. Check out the website and be sure to register!

‘Golden Hands Trophy’ competition, London

The VR-Haptic Thinkers group will host a 1-day dental skills competition called the ‘Golden Hands Trophy’.
In this serious but fun event, participants will compete on both VR-Haptic equipment and traditional phantom heads to decide who is the winner of the day. The GHT isn’t just a contest; it’s a revolution in dental education, pushing boundaries and fostering excellence via gamified VR&Haptic and real world dental chair action. This global competition aims to sharpen students’ manual dexterity and haptics skills, turning dental education into an exhilarating journey.

This live event will be held in London on June 5, 2025.
