Frequently Asked Questions

How many ClickGrip sets do I need?
You need 1 ClickGrip set for each Simodont. Each ClickGrip set contains:

  • 1 ClickGrip adapter
  • 1 ClickGrip generic drill handpiece
  • 1 ClickGrip generic shortened straight handpiece
Can I have my personal preferred hand instrument as ClickGrip?

As a product, we can provide the drill handpiece and the shortened straight handpiece. Please contact your sales representative for custom made instruments. Based on your request we can prepare a quotation for you.

Do I need a technician from Nissin to install this tool?

Installation of the Clickgrip adapter is a one time effort. A link to a step by step instruction movie is included with every set.

Each order for ClickGrip sets will include a maintenance kit. This maintenance kit contains the required tooling and a new calibration tool which fits the modified handpiece.

With these tools you should be able to replace the original drill handpiece by yourself.

How does an instrument exchange work?

Switching between ClickGrip hand instruments is simple:

  1. Press the white button on the ClickGrip adapter
  2. Slide the hand instrument in the opposite direction out of the adapter
  3. Slide the new hand instrument in the adapter
  4. Release the white button on the ClickGrip adapter
  5. Perform a ‘force calibration’ in the first treatment you start after switching a ClickGrip hand instrument
